Garbrook Zenith was bred by Ron and Sue Garrett of "Garbrook Pastoral" Beaudesert and bought by Keith and Bev Lacey of "Grenada" Capella near Emerald after the Brisbane Exhibition in 2006 for $20,000.00.  Garbrook Zenith was milked for semen at Beef Breeding Services in Rockhampton on his way back to Emerald before being put out to work with 70 cows.  His first calves were dropped the week of the Brisbane Ekka 2007.

He returned to Garbrook 9 weeks before the Brisbane exhibition to be topped off to show condition to compete.

Numerous people remarked on what a magnificent bull he is, "A True Champion of Champions"
