94sqcm 8mm P8 fat, 3mm rib fat,
1st Grain Fed Heifer Bazadais / Brahman. Above average EMA 88sq cm.
The carcase dressed at 55.81% measuring 5mm P8fat, 8mm rib fat 2nd Pen of Three Steers
Bazadais gain praise
in debut - Mackay Show Trade Competition
Only four Bazadais cross steers were entered and came from
John McFarlane's
Greenmount Bazadais Stud at Walkerton.
Bazadais Brahman/Brangus cross won the under 350kg class. Bazadais
Brahman cross won 2nd
place and equalled top points for market suitability. Another milk
tooth Bazadais Brahman
Angus gained 1.96kg per day during the 100 days on grain in the feed
lot and exited the lot
with a live weight of 700kg
