Mini Bazadais / Bazaman Field Day a success |
| John & Kathy McFarlane of Greenmount Bazadais conducted a very successful mini field day on Saturday, 19th September featuring their Bazadais / Bazaman cattle. | |
| The field day started with 75 people going through the Walkerston butcher shop where they had a demonstration of a carcase being boned out to show the 75%+ results. | |
| Ray Villian (of Walkerston Country Meats) provided some of his award winning pepperonis (from Sydney Royal Fine Food Show) and guests checked out the Bazadais meat in the display cabinets. From there everyone went to Greenmount Bazadais where they had a long discussion and went through some of Greenmount's trials. |

| Brisket corned meat was served followed by a BBQ steak and guests had the opportunity to walk amonst the circa 20 head of cattle in the house yard. | |
| The field day generated wide spread interest in Bazadais/Bazaman cattle by the guests including the hard and fast Brahman breeders in attendance. | |
